Good stats, and now we’ll just have to wait, and see how many HR, and RBI Bregman puts up this year, which most likely will be more RBI than O’Neil did last year.

As usual going off on a different tangent, and not even what I was talking about. I said it’s the $40M part that is getting talked about on the street. This is just a very small section of the street, and many times oblivious to what goes on in other parts of town.

Total bases are one thing, but HR, and RBI show up on the scoreboard as they happen. We’ll see what kind of Numbers Bregman can put up this year.

The LT number is one thing, but most of of what I’ve heard on the different sports venues being talked about is the $40M.

When’s the last time the Red Sox had a $40M man. They’ll probably end up more than that.

I wasn’t for bringing O’Neil back, but just asking if Bregman would give you more HR, and RBI production than what O’Neil did, and if the Red SOX Would be any more improved against LHP.

I can’t see Casas being traded at this point this year. Masa is the one that somehow has to be dealt with.

Is he a plus plus 2B? How’s he turn the DP? Is just equal, or yet to be determined better offense worth $40M?

No doubt Bregman is a good player, and will help the Red Sox no matter what position he plays, but if he is the RHH the Red Sox have needed for the low, low price of $40M how much more production will he give you (HR, and RBI) than if they would have just signed O’Neil back for a lot less money?

Agree. A great pass rush can make a great QB not even look like a good QB. Just ask little Tommy Brady not once, but twice against the NY Football Giants, From 18-0 to 18, and ut oh.

Right now I’d take the healthiest rotation, and see what happens from there.

Why is it hard to comprehend that Cora makes the lineup out on pitching matchups? I can understand not understanding why, but what I don’t understand is not actually seeing that he does it. After Story, and Casas went down last year how many players played everyday? Cora said it, and Cora does it like it, or not.

Grissom was a bad SS, and Grissom is a bad 2B, and most likely would be a bad 3B. The Braves had plans to try him in the OF. Hopefully Raffy doesn’t go down, and we don’t have to find out.

All I know is what I heard Cora say on a postgame presser. Cora has talked about how the D has to improve many times on a postgame presser ., but how much has been done about it, and how much has the D improved the last few years? Specially the Infield D. Even the Full Throttle Man mentioned the Bad D last offseason. They changed the IF coordinator last year, and Tek gets a new job title to no avail.

Short term yes, but 2B was as a revolving door last year as was SS at times.

Likely yes, but not a good one. The Red Sox have plenty of so called IF depth, but how much of it is good ones?

If Grissom can’t win the 2B job unless Campbell breaks through I don’t see how he would be Raffy’s replacement.

How many games did Ref Man play in LF when RAF Man was in CF? That would be the scenario now. Because of Story being out the RAF Man was not the FT CF last year, and Duran was not the FT LF. This year could be different.

Kike was a SS gloveman? Yes he could play there, and RAF Man only got moved there, because others failed.

Yes he said I make the lineup out accordingly to the pitching matchups on a postgame interview. I added the rest that implied it to me.
