  1. I'm not talking about fanboy posters like yourself as I obviously don't follow them. I mainly follow top baseball writers like heyman, passan, olney, etc.
  2. One could argue that he has an above average bat for his position.....
  3. And that has exactly what to do with the current state of the team?
  4. Put your money where your mouth is as they say.....
  5. Well, he failed a test. And his claims about "getting to the bottom of it" ring about as hollow as OJ claiming he will find Nicole's killer.....
  6. The thread subject is who is the most over rated. This has nothing to do with legal vs illegal. Anyone who reached that club that was aided by the use of PEDs has an unfair advantage over those who didn't, thus they are over rated IMO.
  7. And what of papi's greatly increased size? Have you seen his twins photos?
  8. That's a bingo!
  9. drury just crushed a grand slam
  10. Correct, but from everything I have read on Twitter, the plan is for him to be the DH, as he is tonight.
  11. Geez, pay attention, drury is their DH now.
  12. hosmer has posted a UZR of -3.2, a UZR/150 of -6.1 and a -1 DRS this season.
  13. Then why bother hanging onto eo, jd and xbo and then acquire pham and hosmer?
  14. Care to make a wager on who accumulates a higher WAR between now and the end of the season, Beni or pham?
  15. Regardless whether they were illegal or not is not the point. I included McGwire on the list, he never failed a test and, heck, he retired well before 2003.
  16. You're right, I should have stated PEDs instead of roids, my bad.
  17. One of the most productive bats in an underperforming line up doesn't really say all that much. Paying $20M this year for an OPS+ of 93 is not exactly a feather in hang 'em chaim's cap. And he only gets more expensive from here on out.....
  18. Would you care to make a wager that he ends up with a higher OPS than gallo did in his time with the Yanks?
  19. Could happen, but I would think Beni's time in beantowne has him better prepared to handle pressure baseball.
  20. It has been stated that there are guys in the Hall who took roids, and then this year's induction just confirms it.
  21. As your buddy moon drills into you all the time, it's a small sample size.
  22. But many sox fans in here like the D.....
  23. True, but the sox have let up six runs. Maybe the pitchers are just more confident in the way vaz handled the staff.
  24. Maybe if he had pulled it a little harder he could have squirted it around the pesky pole.....
  25. I believe the reports have stated that he's been working on that, in his car.....
