    Nonsense, they hung him out to dry. Did you even watch what happened on ESPN? The dude got blindsided by the reporters, was practically in tears and then the sox PR guy had to grab him and pull him away. If the trade was that close to being done, they should have never put him in that position.

    The sox hung vaz out to dry, knowing he was traded pending a physical they still sent him out in a sox uni to be blindsided with the questions regarding the trade by a reporter. As Ron Burgandy would say "Stay classy, beantowne"

    When you are a cellar dweller and packing it in, you trade off everyone with expiring contracts or with an option that they will exercise. No sense in doing it half way unless they intend on paying xbo what he wants.
