JH owns 40% of shares the largest block TW owns the second largest share giving the two a majority share and if this isn’t enough JH also owns the Boston Globe (I’m jealous)

If I remember correctly the Redsox offer to Betts was higher money per year but not as many years, but that’s probably changed since the original reports, they did offer $300 million
