  1. Nobody knew if Bloom was a good GM or not, I mean let’s be honest how could you screw up the Rays and if he did no one noticed or cared. Your not in Kansas anymore Dorthy now your in Boston and we notice and care about our team
  2. Just sitting here wondering why the Red Sox would want to teach Dalbec how to play second base, he can’t play first he’s slow at third base and can’t hit, they already have Story and Arroyo there it would only make sense if they are planning on not signing Bogaerts and moving Story to short and using Dalbec at second or a utility infielder. Once again dumping salary and a good player and keeping an inferior player just because of his salary. I really don’t understand the Sox love affair with Dalbec he’s not a good player and should be traded if they can if not DFA him. He’s kinda like JBJ neither one can hit but at least JBJ could play great defence
  3. Don’t blame the fans for his trades they are still trying to make a wild card, he filled the outfield and first base holes and with the players coming back they are hoping to make the playoffs, his style on the cheap, that’s why no big spending or lots of trades, but I will say the Vasquez trade is kind of puzzling, especially having to trade for another catcher
  4. Lets look at what Bloom has done, he traded Benintendi and has had no real return, Betts he got average outfielder and two minor leaguers that may never make it to bigs, he let Bradley walk then traded Renfroe a good outfielder 30 Hr and gun for an arm, for Bradley and a couple minor leaguers, last winter he hired a group of older pitchers most past their prime or coming off an injury, now he has traded Vasquez and got two minor leaguers, then had to trade a relief pitcher to get a catcher, now the bull pen is short handed, if Bloom doesn’t sign Bogaerts I doubt he will sign Devers, I doubt Devers will stay without Xander there. So in summation he got rid of Benintendi, Betts, Vasquez, JBJ twice , Renfroe, and made no effort to sign Schwarber and possibly Bogaerts and Devers. My question is are any of the players he got better than the players he got rid of, it doesn’t look like it to me
  5. I’ve been a Sox fan for almost 60 years and in that time I’ve seen them pull some bone head moves, suffered through some horrible managers seen good players traded and lousy players coveted, the Henry group brought money and hope and we did win, now it seems like we are regressing back to the Yawkey years, only spend what you have to nothing more just put a team on the field, looks like the good old days are coming back. One good thing will come out of this though you’ll be able to get tickets really easy
  6. Nobody has $1 seats and the Red Sox own NESN. Also the Red Sox are the highest priced for family of 4 in MLB. They cost more than everybody not just the Dodgers
  7. Whose bright idea was it to model the Red Sox after a loser like the Rays. They should really be proud of this mess, and i don’t want to hear about injuries they were a bad team before, they have players starting on this team they could DFA and nobody would pick them up. If this year is what we have to look forward too I’d just like to say to Xander and Rafael run like hell
  8. The Red Sox have a salary of approximately $230 million this year, with the highest average cost for a family of four to purchase tickets $324 (just tickets no refreshments). The Dodgers have a salary of approximately $330 million with a $47 million penalty yet a family of four can purchase tickets for $265, so the Dodgers pay $147 million more for salary and have cheaper ticket prices, the Red Sox if they don’t resign their free agents will have a salary under $90 million next year, and a team of AAA players playing in the major leagues exactly like they are doing now, I guess their getting us used to it, Bloom is building the Tampa Bay Rays of Massachusetts, never win it all but come just close enough to keep fans interested while making a larger profit at the fans expense, if the Sox keep doing things Blooms way settle back it’s going to be another long 86 years. Now all we can do is sit back and watch him screw up negotiations with Bogarts and Denver’s
  9. What are you an English teacher, I press one wrong key
  10. He has 34 HR
  11. Your living in the past, if that’s all you want is 4 championships then you have the right GM in Bloom, the Yankees have 27 titles and they are hungry for more and will do what it takes or costs to get it, So this fall when they raise the trophy and talk smack you tell them that’s alright we don’t care, we saved a lot of money for a group of billionaires
  12. Does anyone have any idea why they traded Vazquez, they got nothing for him, the only thing I can think of is he’s going to be a free agent and they don’t want to pay him, almost as stupid a trade as the Renfroe trade how can any sane person trade away 70 HR and not replace them and expect to win (Renfroe, Schwarber)

  14. Three years is way to long too cuddle this guy, what is he a China doll that needs to sit on a shelf, he has more excuses than Carter has little liver pills, some players lose velocity and can’t recover. It’s time for him to sink or swim. The one thing this club is good for is holding on to marginal players way to long, and getting rid of the good ones because they want to be paid.
