Only problem with keeping him in AAA is they won’t, and we’ll have to watch him strike out with runners in scoring position with less than two out for another year, he strikes out a little more than once every three at bats and has a negative war
I think Dalbec would get claimed he’s younger than Cordero, he’s been around for 7 or 8 years but Dalbec and Cordero have the same disease they rake AAA pitching and can’t make contact consistently in the bigs
He’s quick to get rid of good players but holds onto players that shouldn’t even be in the show aka Dalbec, Cordero can you imagine those two in starter spots with 400 strike outs between them, think about this Cordero hasn’t had a minor league option since the spring of 2021, nobody claimed him
They probably thought that if he turned it down they would just re-negotiate at end of season before he entered free agency, they never dreamed he would have a year like this.
I agree except I think you have to include teams like the Brewers, Twins, Nationals, Mariners and Rangers all have plenty luxury tax space, in any case it will be interesting to watch if he reaches free agency
Need a little more help, but they have the payroll to get just about anyone they want, but they do have internal problems that make just about everything impossible
I think he could reach that fence, the birds have a weird situation with control of the team right now, they also have the lowest payroll and number 1 farm system
Which organization is smarter the Yankees or Red Sox, if Judge and Bogaerts reach free agency neither team will win a bidding war for their player. Bogaerts will get offers in the 7 year $200 million range while Judge the sky’s the limit, it wouldn’t surprise me to see a $400 million offer. So which team is smart enough to keep their player
Those are the people that have to show their displeasure by not going to the games, and that is exactly what’s happening now, when I looked this morning I could have purchased a $250 ticket for $100
