Wong who was having significant trouble buying a hit in his very limited ABs so far will get a chance at a clean restart come mid to late May. Maybe that will be a win from this not so good situation. It may also allow Connor, when back to remain fresher deeper into the season . It may also prompt Breslow to reconsider the catcher position by trade deadline. It is Narvaez's job to perform and solidify . Let's wish him well in doing so

Somewhere in all that talent, there must be an opportunity to trade for a #1 catcher. Wong is not improving over his baseline, not hitting . Narvaez has been surprisingly good in his turns , but this team could go far with a good catcher who can hit.

I would say Abreu. Duran matured a bit late and is still controllable. Not exactly tearing up the leadoff spot this year. Can't steal second or third until you get on base

Agreed. The NESN broadcast is all about the charitable works of the RS Foundation. Good for them. Werner and Henry alone could fund it for years. Made me turn the sound off and watch the actual game.

You may well be correct, but I think Fitts may be the better pitcher . The object remains to win the game you are playing , not to alter a future that doesn't exist yet. I don't see skipping Fitts a turn to be productive.
