We don't get too many because we only play at Fenway half the time

I think the pole shot emphasizes that the Sox are not destined for a really big short season. They are lucky it is not 162 game tour de force. But Bloomie will need to be shopping for 3 legitimate starters winter of 20/21. Erod's illness was the crusher this go round

Let's just say that the typical machismo Mexican male has not attended to many gay pride functions, pendejo

The real story of the 3rd inning wasn't the conclusion, but that with the bases loaded and no outs with your alleged best 2 hitters coming up, the first one K's and the second one hits a double play bal whether it hit the ground or not. Not even a flyball in the bunch. These guys are as lifeless as the crowd in the stands

I only hope Beni somehow did his baserunning based on the idea that the run from third would count if he delayed the out caused by his leaving the base IF Devers ball was caught in the air.

Hall---2out, 4 pitch walk. How small does your brain have to be to throw like that ? Roenicke pulls him, rightfully, to preserve his 10+ ERA

2 strike, 2 out pitching, the mark of winners and losers. A flipping flare scores 2. Pitch count piling up, another s*** day from Sox straters

Cannot get two innings of tight pitching. Start excavating the basement

Too small samples for all these shifts.

Welcome to the singles wall, Peraza

Can Valdez do what others have trouble with ? Pitching with 2 outs and 2 strikes-----YES!!!
  12. vegasbob
Much agreed Splendid. Playing from 4-5-6 down will stop a lot of teams.

And he chases the first one with a lucky foul tip
  14. vegasbob
JDM getting squeezed on called strikes. Now will come the cutter away

Beni has the power of a pipsqueak . What a f***ing loser
  16. vegasbob
Here's a positive in the midst of a pile of s***. JBJr , knowing it was his contract year, decided to show up and hit smart so far. Beni and Rafy could learn from jackie right now

Benintendi does what he has to do. Now steal second
  18. vegasbob
Osich gets his 3 outs despite an error due to X's tough play and a nice move by Vaz. Just holding my breath for Beni's AB.

And with 57 to go the Sox only trail the O's by 1 game. Looking strong. Top it off with Daniel Bard picking up a win for the Rockies.
  20. vegasbob
Nice effort by Benintendi to take a knee while striking out once again.
  21. vegasbob
Beni and Rafy 0-10 with 6 K's, sandwiched around JDM's hitting. Roenicke needs a new idea tomorrow.
  22. vegasbob
Regrettably today's loss to the O's , with a lackadaisical offense in the day game after a night game, emphasizes why this short season is likely to be 25-30 W slog through mediocrity . Sunday's game becomes more important to see if it was just a Perez kind of day or a harbinger of a quiet October
  23. vegasbob
Does Ron get his ideas from Alex C ? Rest cannot be stored up like acorns for winter. You rest when your tired. I honestly don't know how intense the "Summer Camp " was, but if these guys are tired sleeping at home, then forget it
  24. vegasbob
Correct, tried it in 2019 with no results, except negative ones
  25. vegasbob
Just wondering when the clock will run out on Andrew's potential, and refocus on his reality ? Not talking about these first two games alone (SSS) but the whole 2019 season .
