Reading Bloom's interview and I'm sure there will be more, leaves little doubt he is thinking 2022 not win at any cost. The flip side is that you can only play the game currently going on , next year is never assured . Nice to lay a foundation but not if that prevents you from leveraging your current opportunity, with only 56 games to go. I get the feeling Bloom would consider the WC game a "win " this season

lot of LH hitters take that low inside pitch and lose it in the third deck. Verdugo, who in my mind is as undisciplined as a few others in our lineup , is not a big time player.
