His indecisiveness or "paralysis of the analysis" is a typical outcome of this methodology. They try more to avoid mistakes than to make significant moves. Although his entire working career , all the way to 40 years old ( hah!) , has been involved with baseball for no apparent reason, he is not a relatable personality to players or field level operations.
