  1. Posting this in 4th inning , just to prove the fans don't quit unlike some others . Sox actually have a 1-0 lead, scoring their 4th run in this 3 game series, thanks to a Wilyer Abreu SOLO HR because no one in front of him could reach base. Meanwhile Crawford throwing another mini-gem: 4 innings, 1 hit no runs. Come on Boston, take this series.
  2. Especially when Winckowski seemed to have found his mojo again with 2 good innings. A fluke HR which Dalbec tried but failed to match before K'ing again on a slider. The difference between AAA and MLB must be the sweeping slider . It seems to separate the players from the pretenders.
  3. Phuqueing phuckers phuck themselves again . They may not win 80 this year
  4. Scored 3 runs at Fenway in 17 innings against a lesser team . Those bats must feel very heavy. Still can win the game though
  5. That HR against Winck is the #1 absolute cheapest in MLB at 311' The whole 2023 season in a thimble
  6. Whatever happened to Tim Anderson, sporting a .595 OPS for a full season?
  7. Pro that he is, he probably would have executed it well. If so, it would have set up a great match to see if Rafaella could score on Verdugo's short fly.
  8. Not all who wander the Witherlands are lost. Some are just seeking the hinterlands
  9. Can't diminish turner's 2023 contributions but he gagged on that AB . More LOB/RISP garbage
  10. On a team with starting pitching needs, there's no way you pass by Pivetta as part of the solution. He showed the ability to be the back half of opener concept, and also be a starter in his own right. Not your Ace or even #2, but definitely part of the mix, and not costly.
  11. Pivetta gives the Sox a true rarity--- 7innings of shutout on a an efficient pitch count . But he is getting all the support of a fat girl's 3 year old elastic bra
  12. Forget the contract terms, Yoshida should be a .290-.300/.800 OPS hitter with a .350 OBP , low K rate (15%) in 2024. That is an excellent hitter to get in front of the supposed big boppers. Might even bat him 8th or 9th to break up the low end of the lineup. Ideally he could hit leadoff like the beginning of 2023. He definitely slumped in August/early Sept so he does need to adapt to the US MLB conditions of play and schedule.
  13. Mr. LOB/RISP K's yet again .
  14. Don't get confused or distracted by Dalbec's strong WooSox season or even a few reps at Boston this year. At 28, he is who he is. Just need to se eif you can get anything for him
  15. Rainy day blues in Boston BUT, Nick Pivetta throws an excellent 5 innings of shutout pitching. The hitters ? You 'd think they were batting against Nick. Cannot score on a day where the game could get called early. I guess credit to Cease.
  16. Chris Martin shows how to pitch in relief all year long. Yoshi had the GW RBI
  17. Story has a 3 run bomb coming
  18. Yoshi needs to grow taller in the off season so he can play the wall better
  19. Masataka with a rbi hit with 2 outs to get the lead. Still pounding it down but pretty hard that time and off a LH
  20. Turner losing his magic late in the year
  21. It is especially fun to have O'Brien giving updates on scores from other AL teams that are actually playing for something. Hard to say that this bunch didn't effectively quit after the trade deadline, when the former CBO called them underdogs while looking in the mirror at a deadman walking.
  22. You saw that too, Thompson proved that Dugo isn't the only RF'er in the park. The fans were guilty of watching Boston defensive efforts all year and imitating
  23. Dugo does play RF well in Fenway. Credit to him
  24. Future HoF'er Tooki Toussaint holds the mighty Sox to 1 run through 6 innings getting his quality start , and in line for a win. I know the Sox will come back to win this one, probably with 2 outs in the 9th but meanwhile they are uninteresting
