    The Yankees are winning meaningless games this weekend. Congratulations to them for padding their stats and making the race look closer than it was. The Sox cleared their bench two weeks ago. Thats what happens when you clinch with two weeks to go.

    Look at the standings dummy. The Yankees were out of it on August 5th!!!! Who cares about the season series. The Sox have been coasting since they clinched. That was a loooooooooong time ago. Yankee fans have been looking forward to the wild card game all season. Season series.... that is laughable that you would use that as your argument. Wow.

    Who cares about the season series? They don't give any awards for winning the season series. The Yankees barely beat the Orioles in the season series. What difference does that make? The Sox smoked the Yankees in the regular season. The Yankees were out of it on August 5th!!!!! Chew on that.
