    Tyler has definitely Ty'ed up the SOX at the plate. It's not a cliche; good pitching beats good hitting. Fortunately for the SOX there isn't a whole lot of good starting pitching in the AL. Unfortunately for the SOX they don't have a whole lot of good starting pitching.

    Only took Sawanara 2 pitches to clear the bases. Rich Hill's 78 game streak of giving up 4 runs or less is ovah. That was an amazing streak.

    Part of the 'OH NO' is that with those 3 the BP will most likely be called upon in the 5th inning or sooner.

    Bloom since 2019 has taken a bottom feeding farm system and turned it into a top ten system. His moves last season allowed the SOX to play in the ALCS, in what was supposed to be a 'rebuilding' year. Speaking for myself, I trust Bloom. His history with Tampa speaks for itself.

    I noticed the Yankems aren't playing today. Kind of strange.

    How good has May been to the SOX offensively? As of today the SOX team BA is 2nd in MLB. They are 4th in runs scored. And 3rd in team OPS. The team pitching is ranked 15th based on ERA. The pitching has given up 59 HR's, which is 11 more than the SOX have hit(48). Btw, the Dodgers are #1 in both team hitting and team pitching. No surprise there.

    Story has cooled off, but 4 other SOX players have heated up, so that's more than a fair trade-off.

    Good question. I'd like to be able to answer it, but it's beyond my pay grade.

    Charlie Finley, probably the smartest owner in all of baseball, saw all of this coming after the Curt Flood ruling. He had a large yard sale and said adios.

    I tried finding that on the internet, but all I found was a 4 year deal at 90 million that was offered during spring training. It appears Bogey is looking for something around 30 million per year. Aren't we all.
