It appears the O's are challenge challenged.

At this point the SOX are offensively similar to the 1968 Cardinals. Bob Gibson ended that season with a 1.12 ERA and still had 9 losses.

A starter who can go 7 or more innings is in the same category as the White Tiger.

Based on the sparsity of 6 inning starts, I wonder if MLB will redefine a QS as 5 innings with 2 earned runs or less?

Let me modify the above. Bello is the only SOX starter with an ERA over 1.50.

The SOX lead MLB in ERA at 2.00. What's interesting is the top 7 teams in ERA are all in the AL. Pittsburg, ranked 8th, leads the NL in ERA at 3.55.
