I believe Rafaela is more comfortable playing CF. Next season when he returns to CF, it should affect his hitting in a positive way. Of course, this can only happen if Story doesn't injure himself before opening day.

There's so much bad pitching (throwing) in MLB. What sets the SOX apart from the many teams with less than quality pitching is the SOX also have less than quality defense to go with it. That's a bad combination.

I had similar problem, but it wasn't my fault.
-
Twinkies losing also. So it's a battle of mediocrity for the final PO spot.
-
If the Tigers don't re-sign Skooby Doo, their fans should boycott the team. IMHO.

Slow runners help make great infield defensive plays.
-
Very good job by Pivetta. Should have only been charged with one run.

Interesting fact: In 1984 all three SOX OF's, Rice(122), Armas(123) and Evans(104), had over 100 RBI. The SOX finished the season at 86-76. Must have been some pitching woes on that team also.

I guess it would have to depend on the amount of the QO. Right now Pivetta is making 7.5 mil. Would 20 mil for 2 years be too much for a #4 starter. I don't know.

I soitenly hope not, but with the SOX no longer a big market team, who knows.

With a lefty on the mound and the bases empty, I would IW O'Neill.

O'Neill's 25th HR and 50th RBI.
