  1. Worst case scenario would be that the SOX trade for a middle of the rotation starter and use Criswell for depth. Maybe not the worst case, but it would be the least they could do.
  2. Kudos to Dom Smith. He took a lot of abuse, myself included, so now he deserves a little love. He was a very big reason the SOX won this series.
  3. The SOX FO better make up their mind whether to go after 2 good arms or to protect their precious prospects. They can't do both. It's a shame there's nothing on the farm in the way of starters; that, of course, would make things a little easier.
  4. Losing the 1st game of a 3 game series doesn't seem to hamper the SOX from winning the series. Strange, but then this season, so far, has been strange, in a good way.
  5. I don't know if Duran could have made the throw Rafaela made. Of course, moving Rafaela to CF weakens the SS position defensively, as we've just found out.
  6. Hopefully, Kenley won't be asked to pitch two innings in the future.
  7. Blocking the bag? Give me a break.
  8. IMHO, Kenley is as good a closer as anyone in MLB this season. He doesn't always get it done quickly, but he does get it done.
  9. SOX 1 & 2 batters are 7-10. That's not bad.
  10. Yup. No point in coming back too early just to re-injure it again.
  11. Dom has been money in the bank the last couple of weeks.
  12. It's important that Casas takes as much time as he needs.
  13. That ball was screaming when it left Bello's hand.
  14. Terrible loss by Yankems? Hell, no. All their losses are glorious.
  15. Tough question to answer. I'm surprised the chUMPIRES' union hasn't fought against the box more vigorously. It also appears that the union really doesn't care how inept their chUMPS are.
  16. He's proven because of lack of command that his stuff is very hittable, but that's no excuse for blowing two DP grounders.
  17. Bello deserved better that inning.
  18. Not turning DP's are errors that don't register as errors.
  19. So many of these MLB chUMPS punish batters who have a good eye at the plate. And they also punish pitchers, who make perfect pitches. IOW, so many of these MLB chUMPS SUX!
  20. Hamilton demonstrates what happens when a ball is hit hard.
