Frustrating thing for me about JBJ he just does not use the wall to his advantage. He's mature enough to know that by now. He'll always be a .250 hitter, 16-20 HRS guy to me. Never had the Power for this Park. Even in the Minors didn't have it. Unless your Ozzie Smith, your not going to get big bucks, for being a Defensive Centerfielder. You got to hit. He'll be 30, going into season at age 31, wheels start slowing down, you start losing what you had at 25, you better hit.

I never hear the Players that are offered for Bradley. These reporters hear everything, I never saw a Trade that makes sense for the Sox at this point. Also have to look at other teams where a Trade helps both teams. I don't see many.

Big market teams are resetting for next years FA's. Smart.

Nobody is making a move, they want the prices to drop on these FA's.

Dombrowski is playing it right Martinez, none of the big market teams are after him. They all want to stay under the Luxury Tax for next years, bonanza of Free Agents. Yanks, Dodgers, Cubs, and Giants, don't look in a hurry for him. That only leaves the Sox.

Kershaw Opts out Price will be an after thought. I see no way Price getting more than what he is getting now. Starting to trend down. For that matter, I don't think Kershaw Opts out.

As a Sox Fan, I hope you Trade Andujar. saw him play in Double AA. Minor Leaguers who don't strike out much, always a good sign.

Huntington is a slick GM, reason why he is getting rid of Pitcher so young with a team that has no Pitching. Buyer beware for me. Cashman has to wait, drop the price to his liking, if not move on.

Bash years for me is when Rice and Company played. 78 team was a bash team.

If its a Doubles Ball Park, then DD is smart not going after Stanton.

Sorry I put that wrong, he could add 15+ HR's in a season, if he played in Fenway.

RHB in Fenway its a HR's Park always has been, LHB in Fenway its a Doubles Park. Dimensions didn't change. With Devers in the line-up, its a HR's Ballpark. DiMaggio said he could hit 50 there if he played regularly.

Power to your home Park is important, last year, Ramirez, Bogaerts, and JBJ hit a total of 20 HRS in combining 208 games played in Fenway. That's a problem. Especially in a hitters Park like Fenway.

Agree. Orioles had Belanger, who was unreal Defensively at SS. So they really had 2 weak bats in that Line-up, but their Defense up the middle was unreal. Had to, because of Pitching, sacrifice the O, for the D, to help Pitching. I can think of 3 Outstanding Fielders on that team, Robinson, Belanger, and Blair.

Here's the thing about a Defensive Outfielder who's Offense is not his strong suit. There is always more, what separates the 2 is Offense. You'll find Defensive Outfielders. Find one that does both, that's the secret. You can compliment a Defensive Centerfielder, if rest of team, is above average on the Offensive side of ball. Orioles did it, but the thing with Blair was Power that surrounded him, in Line-up. Keep the game close with Pitching and Defense, but rely on Power, for difference in game. Defense, Pitching and 3 run HR. With this formula, take out 1 in game and it will be hard to win.

Glad I finally got to see that by the Sox releasing Hanley, they are not obligated for his 19 salary. Sox have to think about this.

Loved that we resigned him. More bang for your buck on these kinds of deals. Also it's contract that could be moved.

I think something happens this week, with at least 1 of Darvish, Martinez, or Hosmer. Nice to have a great Christmas.

Wouldn't shock me if Nunez resigns with the Yanks.

If I were the Yanks, I would do nothing at this point, and let the season come to them. Put Andujar at 3rd base, and wait for Spring Training. There are so many injuries during Spring Training, that other Teams get desperate almost as close to the Trading Deadline.

You should use Free Agency to build a Farm. Not to build a Major League Team year after year. Dodgers and Yanks have spent, but their Farms are some of the best in talent. Our number 1 weakness is consistent Pitching talent in the lower levels. We had to flip our Positional Talent, for this glaring weakness. If I was Henry, I would re-evaluate the whole Scouting Dept. They do not produce, in the most important Position in baseball, Pitching, and it's costing him, money and Prospects. We've only hit the Tip of the Iceberg with the Yankees, I made sure to go to both Double AA Teams games, last year to compare the Sox and Yanks talent. It's not even close. Yanks got some talent coming up, and what's worst, their A+ Team was evaluated as the best in the Minors, at their level. These young arms are coming, and the Sox wont have the answer.....except money, and the few good Prospects we have. This is the problem, going forward. Money, is money, easy to spend, hard to produce talent.

I think losing Nestor Cortes, was not good. Saw him pitch really was impressed with him. Notice teams looking at all the Yankees Prospects in Rule 5 Draft. Tells a lot about a Farm.

Marlins wanted Pitching, probably JBJ was never on their minds, with Ozuna, and probably Stanton. Like JBJ but, Sox Fans are over-valuing him. Other teams GM's are not bringing his name up a lot if at all, in Winter meetings. This is a sign for me, that he is not the value, that we think he is. All these Reporters hear every little ******** rumor there is. Nothing on JBJ. Don't see anything. One year of Machado, teams want to make deals. Probably best thing now, is keep JBJ, and keep phones on during season, maybe for better return, for needs on the Sox.

Cards Traded Piscotty, so they should get a good return from the A's for him, in Prospects.
