Typical Sox offense...17 hits one day, 2 the next. Overall we end up with high run scored total and high batting average, but we're still 1-1.....I'm just whining.

That's a freaking BS analysis.....had Ross dropped the bunt, he would have gone to first base, then to second base to complete the double play. The runner on first base can't take off nor stray too far off the base. To say that he undoubtedly got the runner at 2B was not the core issue. Why would you drop the ball on purpose and then go to second base?

I like Ziegler because he keeps balls in the park. There's always that chance for a double play when he walks a guy. The way I see it he has to give up 3 singles to give up a run. Assuming all .333 hitter, 1/27 chance of happening (assuming 2 outs)

Getting Santana would be a side way move I'm opposed to. I'm with Moon on this. Locking into a two year contract for $26M plus giving away additional prospects would be the dumbest thing to do at this point. Now that we have Pomeranz, just play it out and see what's in store.

Porcello doing a nice job....he does throw strikes....even Price pussyfoots around the plate sometimes.....I hated Dice K..he was willing to loaded the bases to gain advantage, ugh

Yep, maybe Sox is waiting to hear the best offer from other teams and see if it's worth it to better it....as many here have said Moneyball sometimes had different tastes when it comes to prospects...

Also having a set rotation from start that can give us quality starts will enhance our ability to jump ahead from get go.
