  1. If we're willing to part with Casas, I'm sure we've gotten a bite...
  2. They could have stretched out Whitlock..... Pre-June 1: Pivetta 3.86, Perez 3.55, Richards 3.83, Rodriguez 5.64. Post June 1: Pivetta 5.17, Perez 4.91, Richards 6.65, Rodriguez 5.55.
  3. Richards, last 4 starts IP R H BB 4.0 4 5 3 5.2 4 7 1 W 5.0 3 4 1 W 5.0 2 8 1 L
  4. Anxiously awaiting for Part III so I can start bitching about our starting rotation....they are imploding. If Bloom and Cora can't see that then they're not half as good as I thought...... Don't have Houck miss a turn....are you kidding me? Did they watch E Rod pitch last night? Richards? Pivetta?
  5. Or not....another starter is now off the board....
  6. I will say this...if Schwaber gets hurt trying to play first base, I'll never speak to Cora.
  7. I'm IU alum. His group was responsible for turning the program around. We used to be really, really bad. He caught and batted second in college.
  8. Thank you for saying that.....it's very true.
  9. Chaim watching the Yankees blow up their farm system for a lifetime .211 hitter with a career K% of 36.7 when the league average is 23.6%.
  10. We're missing the X factor without Devers....
  11. Boston Herald Headline E Rod pitched well after giving up 4 runs in first two innings.....
  12. Smart move.....it will force us to play Chavis and Dalbec......two easy outs.
  13. He hit it too hard......he's at his best blooping that single over 2nd baseman's head....
  14. Using reverse psychology...
  15. 50% chance next two batters strike out.
  16. E Rod apparently having another tough luck outing...down 0-4 after two innings. His balls contantly run into bats. Our rotation is seriously in trouble. But we can send down Houck. Go figure.
  17. They seem to be sending better talent to make up for not having to pay for 2021 salaries of players they've acquired.
  18. Yankees did get better. Their first base production was worse than the Sox's.
  19. Yankees gave up #9 and #12.......for Sox that would be Nick Yorke and Noah Song.
  20. Writer for NY Post understands Yankees mindset. It is moments like those that you need a good hitter (man on third with less than two outs). The Yankees are more replete with dangerous hitters, not necessarily good ones. Gallo will move into that seamlessly. In part because the Yankees’ brain trust just can’t resist this type. They love the idea of presenting menace at the plate, making pitchers feel a conveyor belt of looming threat. The 6-foot-5 Gallo will fit next to the 6-7 Aaron Judge and 6-6 Giancarlo Stanton and 6-3 middle linebacker that is Luke Voit. When it goes right (and in the case of Gallo now, left) for these Yankees, they will be the Bronx Bombers in full
  21. He'll start on August 7th so he'll come bacl up. Meanwhile he's going down to stay in routine, start for AAA team. Unless someone gets hurt. Sounds like we'll have to stomach one more turn of Richards.
  22. Cole gave up 8 runs today.....He still looks good to me but he can be scored on....
  23. Swihat Ghost needs to quit watching the Titanic. Not every ship goes down.... But I am THE one that freaked out about Kike leading off......geez what was I thinking?
  24. Was it him or was he told that?
  25.
