I remember my junior high science teacher letting me listen to the 1969 World Series in class on the radio with my earplug. The game had been over a few minutes when the teacher unplugged the ear device, unleashing "Sugar, Sugar" by The Archies from a different radio station. BTW that teacher's son is a VP with the Chicago White Sox, where he has worked for 32 years.
