    Down 4-0 against this pitcher with the Sox popgun lineup, this game is over . As for the defence, absolutely putrid. SS is the premium fielding position on the field, and the Sox need to get a real one, or this will be Kike part 2.

    We were told the defence would be better this year, but so far it stinks again. The Sox are committing 0.91 errors per game, the 5th worst in MLB

    Overall it’s a pretty average lineup, especially when the top of the order is not scoring runs.

    MLB trade rumours are reporting that the sox (among others) are pivoting from the Otahni sweepstakes, as they don’t thing he will sign with the Red Sox.

    Could the Sox trade Yoshida for pennies on the dollar just to get him off the roster, as he doesn’t offer any value in the field, and his bat isn’t good enough for DH ?

    Hmm. Maybe because I didn’t work for the Red Sox baseball ops team, and I didn’t know they were going to replace him with the corpse of Corey Kluber .

    For not doing what it took to sign him. Bloom’s 2023 rotation was abysmal.

    Eovaldi’s 2023 post season performances are sure making Bloom look like a terrible decision maker.

    Evoaldi just pitched 6.1 innings giving up 1 run against the rays in game 2 of the Wild card. I hated the decision to not get a deal done with him last off season. Still we did get Kluber 😂

    Devers on 98 RBIs, now has no RBIs in his last 8 games. It now looks possible he won’t get to 100 RBIs.

    Rafaela is swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, which was the knock on him in the minors.

    Watching the Sox play the rays this season, you realise just how much the roster will need to improve to compete with them. The rays absolutely own the Red Sox, winning the season series 12-2 !!!
