I admire the hardcore Red Sox fans for watching these awful games since the AS break. The offense blows just as much as the bulllpen. Thankfully I am working, and only following the games on my phone, which lessens the pain.

The Red Sox offense continues its lame performance since the all star break.

Since the all star break, the Red Sox offence has shown the ability on a daily basis to make average pitchers look like peak Sandy Koufax. Aside from Duran, the offence has turned into a collective wasteland. They have gone from one of the best offences in baseball, to the 2nd worst OPS in MLB in the 2nd half.

I have to agree with Chad Finn’s recent column, the Sox don’t have enough pitching to make the playoffs . Fatally, it has recently been coupled with a weak offence.
