    Thanks for your opinion, duly noted. On a forum, we are free to express our opinions , and mine remains that Devers swings at too many pitches out of the zone.

    I was not referring specifically to 3-0 counts. After watching him for 7 seasons, I have seen enough to know he makes a lot of bad swing decisions.

    Can Devers play defence well enough to man LF? That would also help improve the lack of HRs from our outfield .

    Yes moon, the brains trust need to make some hard calls in the off season in regard to the abysmal defence of this team. I’ve seen enough of Devers to know he can’t stay at 3rd base over the long term ( even right now he stinks) so moving Devers has to happen sooner rather than later, and build the team around him at 1st base.
