    The point was about Oakland not spending and perennially sucking. They clearly have solid stretches. Their big problem now is they unloaded Chapman, Olson, Murphy, etc. a couple years ago and focused on quantity over quality. All they have to show for that haul is Shea Langeliers and Esteury Ruiz..
