If they need a long RP, bring Walter back up. His MLB debut of 6 2/3 IP was the longest relief outing in franchise history since 1944. Pivetta, Winckowski and probably Whitlock should all never (rarely?) throw more than 2 IP…

Mayer is in AA. He’s not the MLB SS and may never be. If Rafaela moves to SS, it makes sense. Hamilton, While better than Kike, isn’t really a full time starter just yet. (And may never be one.)
