Reyes really isn’t an everyday player. And just because Tori n need starting pitching didn’t mean ask other positions should absolutely, positively be 100% ignored this off-season.
The Sox pitching wasn’t any worse than Arizona’s this past season, yet somehow the Diamondbacks made the NLCS.
Pitching tops the list, specially starting pitching. But that doesn’t mean its the only item on it…
First off, apparently Rosario was never a 4 fWAR player. My bad. I misremembered.
But he was a 2.7 fWAR player in 2022 and 2.5 fWAR in 2021. Some teams will be turned off by his lackluster 2023, but others might look at more of his recent seasons.
He is helped by the lack of free agent shortstops. I think he will do better than $5mill. And if that’s the Sox limit at 2b, simply keeping Urias makes more sense…
Re-read post 58 and point out where it says guarding the lines is the same as the shift. Then re-read post 59 and maybe you will realize that you almost got the point once. But clearly since have abandoned solely for the purpose of discrediting others in order to look more credible.

I would think I’d be on anyone’s “Legion of Bloom” roster. But I thought I was clear that he lost me completely at the last trade deadline and I don’t miss him at all. I think Henry was too patient; I would have fired him on August 2nd…
Flaherty? He hasn’t been good for a few seasons now.
I think Hicks might exceed $5mill. Rosario is already making $7.8mill and stands as potentially the best SS option on the free agent market, pending the option decisions for Anderson (likely picked up) and Baez (no idea)…
d and e could have fixed f and g.
I hope signing Kluber was not a reason he was fired. Is the new standard “one bad contract, even a one year deal, and you’re out!” If so, we’re going to get a new CBO every year. Maybe more often…
If the game goes 16 innings, each team will place their lineup along the baseline in front of their dugout, and the game will be decided by a “last man standing” spelling bee…
It’s a case of not wanting him here in the first place and then not wanting him to go. Just feels contradictory. Its ok to change your mind about the guy, but it does feel inconsistent…
If you were as smart as you think you are, you would know that those who suffer from weak intellect did not choose to do so. Whereas being an insufferable ******* such as yourself was straight up your choice…
I don’t know of that was ever offered, but in would have at least hoped for a better pitcher than Maeda, who has only started 53 games in the past 4 years with a 106 ERA+.
If we’re getting a hindsight package, maybe fewer oft-injured pitchers..,
