  1. The Sox can get a SP or RHH without giving up any of Anthony, Mayer or Teel. It’s actually gotten rare to see prospects of that caliber dealt mid-season any more, unless for multiple years of a superstar, like Juan Soto…
  2. So ironic you call that Priceless, as it shows you forgot one of the other very expensive names in that trade…
  3. Fixed moon’s misleading fix
  4. So no pitching? The depth is zero if anyone gets hurt...
  5. Ryan Kalish was no Craig Hansen. There is enough volume to make this kind of thing a full time website on its own.. Also, why the RIP for Kalish? Does it stand for “Remain In Pawtucket”?
  6. He has soda and amphetamines??!?!
  7. Lars Anderson was no Henry Owens…
  8. Those guys were no Gavin Cecchini…
  9. Many have probably forgotten bout the 5 year $25mill extension given to this former Sox player https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/l/lansimi01.shtml And that was back in the late 1990's, when that was not exactly utility infielder money...
  10. At some point, I do agree that the best ability is availability. Yoshida is here and can, like many members of the team this season already have, surprise us...
  11. I'm fine with that. Unless said person is an actual Uber driver just looking to drum up clientele...
  12. But most important, unlike other sports, talking baseball trades is fun. Sure, occasionally, you have to determine the money factor. But as mentioned before, the NBA salary cap is needlessly overcomplicated. And the NFL almost never does player-for-player trades and instead one side almost always receives the wildly unexciting draft pick compensation. Ya-f***ing-hoo. And the NHL? Is that still a league? f*** NHL trades. The NHL is like that bratty little child always fighting for attention by acting out in school. just so his parents might give him food and maybe health care. With him, it's all "Feed me. Give me my insulin! Treat my leprosy!" Shut up, Ronny! Know your place! Baseball trades? Team A needs relief pitching. Team B needs outfield help. Can these teams help each other? How do we equal out the money? And then all that is left is calling the respective GMs and informing them that we did all the legwork...
  13. Spell check is for simians. Also, you assume too much. I mean, how do you know whether or not English is even my first language? I bet my English is better than your Galician...
  14. We all appreciate you finally found the green text...
  15. Not true at all. They also watch highlights...
  16. The Sox also traded Curt Schilling once upon a time...
  17. I tell my Cub fan daughter he is their biggest issue. She's on the fence, but is aware of the bullpen problem...
  18. And it turns out, Counsell might not even be a very good manager…
  19. Can we work out some sort of “lease with an option to buy” arrangement?
  20. Goldschmidt and his .662 OPS is more appealing? Granted, he doesn’t seem crazy like Alonso does sometimes…
  21. Or Connor Joe…
  22. I will say this however. Talking trades on baseball is, has been and always will be more realistic and much easier to understand than trades in other sports. Especially the NBA. That salary cap is more confusing than a lecture on advanced quantum nuclear physics taught only in Chinese to English-speaking kindergarten students…
  23. Whoa!!! No one said we could get a 17yh ranked!! Sell!! Sell!! SELL!!!
  24. Maybe he’s one of those boys down at Clancy’s that dgalehouse is always going on about…
