Fangraphs gives Devers -0.1 fWAR. And a big reason has been his defensive play, which has him dead last in Defensinve runs Saved among MLB thid basemen and 16th of 18 qualifying 3B in UZR/150. Of course, you're only comparison is of Devers to other Sox hitters. His replacement value is positional, so Peraza and Martinez, etc. are scored relative to different players than Devers...

Very possible. however, they might call up Duran or move Chavis to the OF. Or get an OF back in a trade. And maybe Beni returns at some point? Updates on him have been pretty limited. Probably because no one really cares with the year he was having...

THat's situational. A team like Cleveland that has struggled with OF all year might want a solid starter. But certainly some teams might prefer the depth. The interesting part here is teams looking for a platoon have the option of a hitter from either side. If either goes, I prefer it be Pillar. That way it removes the temptation to platoon Verdugo (assuming Pillar is not the starting CF)...
