I actually like the idea of keeping both Whitlock and Houck in the bullpen. Barnes is probably better than how he ended the season last year, but is clearly not the pitcher he was at the beginning. I think keeping one of Ort and Feltman is realistic, but since neither is on the 40 man and there fore have options, are they better served by starting in Pawtucket and becoming depth pieces used as the injuries mount? Also, Bloom knows where the couch is and clearly routes threw the cushions. It's where he found Matt Andriese last year...

Interestingly, Belt is a former Sox draft pick pitcher who also made the majors more recently than Lester and Papelbon. Yet we always forget him on that list. Probably because he didn't sign with the Sox and stopped pitching, but still...
