I tend to agree. His only value to Boston is what he can give the Sox and there is no indication that that is much of anything. If he turns it around somewhere else, so be it.

Who do you propose? With 3 of the top 6-7 starting pitchers in the organization on the DL, there are not a lot of choices. -
Leon is a free agent after this season, so trading Vazquez may not be something you’d want to do without making sure Sandy is still in the fold.

I liked the adjustment Price made in his approach. The Phillies were aggressively attacking the first pitch inside fastball in innings 1 and 2. Price smartly stopped throwing it.

Yes. Overall, 10-7 (for a club well under .500), ERA 3.48 and a WHIP under 1.000. He's a good pitcher.

Right. That hit was absolutely pounded.

He’s only had 3 blown saves all year; that was the 2nd with Sale as the starter (the other was against the Royals in April). The previous one was against the Yankees in May (Porcello was the starter) and that was also a 4 out attempt.
