  1. Or maybe an Anthony or Teel!
  2. I don’t think a single poster or article said 4th to 6th. Why not go back and delete that post.
  3. Your opinion on this is well known.
  4. Because I’m in the big Apple posting on my phone, and I can barely see what I’m typing. I tried to edit but that function does not work, often. I did not have time to go delete.
  5. One ranking system does not mean they are average.
  6. Moodier being moved to SS.
  7. But there a strong sense that none will sing with us.
  8. I was joking, and you should know that. I have no issues with RM.
  9. I’m thinking there will be enough interesting things about this years team to keep me watching, even if we lose 90 games.
  10. Just exposing your warped mind.
  11. Many who disliked Gio, like myself, liked Sonny Gray. Oops!
  12. But this is $38M/1, if we are lucky.
  13. Didn’t Nate have some bad years and missed time?
  14. Gio had 4 really bad starts in those last 14 starts. Nate has had 14 game bad stretches, too. Of course Gio’s end to 2023 was very concerning and a red flag. I preferred many other guys to him, including Sonny Gray, a guy we both liked.
  15. Why bring up McGuire?
  16. He might have tried with Devers and others, but I do y remember reading about any attempts with Devers, until a year before he signed.
  17. Maybe less, but these contracts are less expensive, making 50% better than 50% on mega deals
  18. The Gio signing reeked of the same philosophy as Kluber and Richards: trying to catch lightening in a bottle, short term. I will admit Gio looked more promising than any SPer signing since the Nate extension, but that’s not saying much. Until we start getting serious, we will keep getting what we pay for- or less.
  19. And she clearly doesn’t know the meaning of the word.
  20. You don’t need a 100% success rate on these types of deals for it to make good business sense. Maybe even 50% would save mi ey, long term.
  21. soxprospects.com now has Wink listed as the Sox sixth SP'er and Walter and Criswell as the 1-2 starters in AAA. Wikelman starts the season at AA.
  22. Would it matter?
