  1. Yup... Tied it in the 5th. Tied it in the 9th. Tied it in the 10th. Tied it in the 11th and 12th. Won it in the 13th. I think we scored in 8 out of 13 innings.
  2. He's out of options, but if Rut does not return before roster expansions, maybe we go with 3 catchers.
  3. I was thinking tonight, that even without Durbin in the trade, it might look bad, but not totally lop-sided! Who wants DHam back? Dobbins is doing well, now. Wanna undo that one? LOL.
  4. Can't disagree. It's not like it would have been the end of the world had we lost, but winning a game like this has to give this team a feeling that they are never out of it, and can always comeback.
  5. Maybe even longer than a year. So many wild plays, lead changes, various ways to score and 17 pitchers used: 2 starters and 15 out of 16 RP'ers.
  6. That run does not count as earned, and he deserved no ERs listed.
  7. Tied in loss column with idle Yanks. Top 3 AL East teams above all others by 4+ games. Has that ever happened? -4 behind Yanks in run differential and AL lead. We used 9 pitchers and pulled it out! We walked 7 times, had a HBP and had 16 hits. That's gonna boost some O stats. All with no Willson! Somehow Duran still found a way to go 0 for 5. Durbin is now at .730. Monasterio ,782 and Seigler nearing .700, again. Big hit by Wong and so many others, including Durbin's. Maybe most impressive of all was all the small ball success. 3 sac bunts- I think all led to a run, plus a sac fly. The 2018 team was very talented and special, but this team is doing things no Sox team has ever done, or even come close to doing.
  8. Man-o-man, this team is destined for I don't know what!
  9. 4 parts of just the knee alone. Pulling his chin muscle really got to me.
  10. Yes, I agree. No hard cap, but a step in that direction with concessions to younger and less paid players.
  11. This has to be the worst overall game by Rafaela in a long time, but here we are all tied up.
  12. It seems more like a manager habit, as Suarez is often pulled while doing well and below 70-85 IP. Examples when pulled after X IP and ER/IP 84 pitches and 0ER/ 6IP 70 and 0/4IP 76 and 0/5.1 81 and 1/4.1 64 and 0/4
  13. No. The max is 13 pitchers. No max on everyday, except I guess 26.
  14. More than 6... Romy, Cheng & Gasper (waivers) Whitlock & Slaten (Rule 5) Guerrero, Gamboa, Rivera, Kelly & Eaton (minor league FA)
  15. The minor league depth might be a bit shaky: Gamboa, Rivera, Samaniego & La Sorsa (IL,) but the 60 Day IL reserves could be special: Crochet, Houck, Crawford, Oviedo & Kelly Note: Kelly was at .614 in 71 PAs Against before getting injured.
