  1. That's how I see it. I figured, if someone started a thread with this title, it was because something new happened, and not because some new tweet sounded good to a poster. I'd have been fine had he said, "I believe this is what will happen," but even then, it did not warrant a new thread. I guess I should blame myself for falling for it.
  2. Restless is far from what I am feeling.
  3. You made it sound like it was a fact. If you end up being right, you still misled everyone. Then, you tell us to "shut up!" You've lost all credibility, dude.
  4. These threads should be deleted. The thread starter severely reprimanded.
  5. Denyi Reyes optioned to make room for Moreland.
  6. Well, he's already made millions, so we have a sample size to view with him already.
  7. We’d probably still be pretty good with verdugo, Myers & Quantrill and no Betts & Price. Wait to the deadline on the others. It begs the question on who are our sell now stock highest now candidates? I say, Workman, Walden, Chavis & Duran.
  8. Now, I have to clean the nut stain off my drawers!
  9. If we get Verdigo and Ruiz plus Gray, I’m going to faint. (I was going to say something else, but Kimmo is back.)
  10. Where’s this info coming from? It’s not on MLBTR or any other sites.
  11. I agree, but why stop at Price? If we are punting 2020, then let’s trade Workman and maybe Barnes, JD and Eovaldi- maybe at the deadline.
  12. Is there a link to this announcement?
  13. Maybe someday we trade Myers and save more.
  14. Verdugo and Gray would be very nice
  15. It's a 50% tax. The other penalties are for going $20M or $40M over.
  16. Cartaya is a prospect and the other 3 are ML'ers. I'd make this trade from Boston's point of view. We dump Price and save about $12M Lux a year on the Myers/Price exchange.
  17. He was certainly "off" last year. His 9 PBs doesn't look right, but 55 WPs were way more than any other year. PB+ WP 24 in 458 innings 2014 (.052) 22 in 439 in 2016 (.050) 34 in 771 in 2017 (.044) 32 in 604 in 2018 (.053) 64 in 918 in 2019 (.070)
  18. Betts to LAD Price to SD Stripling to SD Myers & Quantrill to BOS Gonsolin & Cartaya to BOS
  19. Thanks for the correction.
  20. Yes. His offense is literally up and down year to year. His defense was supposed to be good, but his CERA was horrible compared to Leon. Plawecki is signed for 2 years, so I still think Cartaya might match up better, but if Ruiz is the real deal, we could trade Vaz.
  21. I don't know much about either one, but the trade value site has this: 23.4 Ruiz 15.4 Cartaya Since Vaz is under team control for a while, Cartaya might match up better with the timing of need.
  22. Moving Betts, alone, gets us under the tax line. Moving Price and/or Eovaldi allows us to be way more active next winter and beyond.
