He and others have get ahead on the counts and lessen the walks, especially to weak hitters. -
Marwin has been horrific at the plate from start to finish. He seems to get a free pass from fans and Cora. Just how long a leash does this guy get? I know him he and Cora go way back, and his defense up till last night has been fine, but still... He has more PAs than Renfroe & Dalbec and almost as much as Arroyo, Plawecki & Chavis combined... .554 OPS .537 May .504 last 4 weeks .195 last 2 weeks He’s not getting better.

Maybe Andriese on the 26 man roster but not the 40. The leading candidates for being cut off the 40 are... Brennan Wilson Or move someone to the 60 day IL.

Luis Garcia jumped from A ball to the bigs, last year, and has looked pretty good in his 58 IP (2.93 ERA and 1.101 WHIP.) He only has 205 IP in the low minors (2.50 & 1.166). These kind of guys seem to do well vs the Sox, but I like having Richards on the mound. Both pitchers are a little high on the BB/9 but do well on H/9. It would help to get to this guy early. I’m leaving soon to find a free parking spot and enjoy some dollar hot dogs! GO SOX!!!

They also excel at the things stats don't cover as well as defense, smart base-running and good management. Their pitching has looked real good, recently, but it is not a given this will continue.

Well, his high impact years have not worked out very, so far. 2020 was a 60 game season. This year has been a let down over the first third of the year.

With a righty going, I'd keep Dalbec on the bench. Santana at 1B, Arroyo at 2B, Kike in CF.

I don't think managers make these calls based on someone's last 5 games, but I don't disagree with your current choice. -
Base running is sustainable. Timely hitting is not.
