Remember when Duran, then the streaking Munoz were "the neglected" answers to our prayers. Sounds the same with Bello & Co. If Bello is the answer to 2021, then why not Mayer, now that Bogey's down and out?
-
Jump on the bandwagon I've been driving since the Sandy Leon years.
-
It might come down to us needing to win 5 or 6 out of our last 6: 3 @ BAL 3 @ WSH Or 10 or 11 out of out last 14: 3 v BAL 2 v NYM 3 v NYY 3 @BAL 3 @WSH

Now, Bogey's out!

Fun with numbers JD had a .305 OPS in a nine game stretch not long ago, but when you go back... JD last 18 games before tonight's 1-1: .838 with 15 RBIs. This stretch includes the whole 9 game slump!
-
Tied with Bazardo & Brennan -3 IP each and Marwin, Plawecki and Arroyo with 1 IP each.
-
JD is 7 for 14 since the ONE and DONE day off, with two 2Bs and a big HR. He was 14 for 41 before the slump, with 5 2Bs and 2 HRs.

LOL I think NC has supported minor league ball so well, they deserve a team, but without a big city and trying to centrally place the team between mid-sized cities seems very problematic. How about? San Antonio? Indy? Buffalo? Sacramento?

Especially one this good.

If you don't looks at the pitching... If you don't look at the defense... If you don't look at the base running... We have a good shot, tonight!

Does that outweigh a pen game vs Eovaldi?

I remember the play- just forgot who the batter was.
-
Where do you get this sort of data?
-
So, this is who Bloom was waiting for!
-
I did not remember it was him.
-
Setting the rotation up for the WC game, I'm sure.
-
nope

What does starting Brad Peacock tell you about the rest of the staff, at this point in time, anyway?

When I think of Tony Clark, I think back to the days I believed players could be skilled at clutch hitting. I was happy we got him. Career Late & Close .834 (.799 high leverage) With the Sox: .399 (.739) It's like we were the reverse of what TB is today. The guy hit .857 with DET. Came to us at the ripe age of 30 and hit .556. He hit .861 the following 3 years after leaving Boston.
-
Is Sale on 6 days rest all year? Not starting him also pushes back Erod and pushed Eovaldi right out of this TBR series.
-
Plawecki will be back in 2022. We stayed under with Ottavino, and he's been a plus. (I'm not talking plus per dollar) Wong and RHern are likely better than I forgot who, last year. Valdez & Rios seem better than many on that list of 19 I provided. Yes, Bazardo was in the system long before Bloom.

That's because Florida is the model of how to handle COVID.
