  1. True! It was also nice to see Big Nate settle down after a shaky looking start.
  2. I think the 15 pitchers for the month of April will lessen the "burnout" factor, especially since Cora is using them all. Only the use of Whitlock concerns me, as this is pretty much uncharted territory since Bob Stanley.
  3. Like Bobby V is someone anyone should listen to. Blind squirrel on this one. Bard wanted to start, badly. It's as much on him as Sox management, things went south so quickly.
  4. It had the feel of a heartbreaking loss filled with missed opportunities, but Big Nate settled down, and the pen was superb.
  5. RHP Nick Pivetta (9.39) vs RHP Jose Berrios (11.81) Keep the mojo risin'!
  6. I remember during the pre-Henry days, we'd lose a lot of games where we outhit the opponents by 4 or more hits. It's nice to see us pull one out while being outhit 8 to 3. (And, no taters tots were needed.)
  7. Don't change a thing! I'm convinced teams with a variety of batting approaches win more often.
  8. Well, we had Whitlock on the mound. It wasn't rocket science.
  9. We've heard some criticism of Cora's pen moves over the first 11 games, but to me, the guy works wonders with these guys. Our pen has saved our asses, thus far.
  10. You may end up being right, but the guy has been pretty good more times than not over the last 4-5 years.
  11. No McDonough Tater notification?
  12. I added the Tater App. Binelas with his 4th tater! Promote him!
  13. Golden opportunity ... POOF!
  14. 1. Kike 2. Story 3. Devers 4. Bogey 5. JD 6. Verdugo 7. Dalbec 8. Arroyo 9. Wong
  15. Big Nate on the mound.
  16. 1. Nomar had the best 4 year stretch since yaz. 2. The Sox were playing in Toronto, tonight. I could look back and find more, if you wish. I know it's nit-picking, but I felt since that's your favorite pastime, maybe you'd like this.
  17. They need a back-up catcher, and maybe they just like RHern better than Wong, at this point in time. I'm not sure calling up RHern has any deeper meaning. MVP has been slipping, of late.
  18. I was thinking Houck and maybe Kike or Pivetta, but Verdugo, too.
  19. Just making a coment. I have written them, often. They always respond.
  20. Time to extend Devers and others.
  21. Makes sense, but I'm not sue one more year without seeing him throw changed much.
  22. Sox Records: 5-5 BOS 9-3 Wor (1st place) 4-5 Por (4th place) 6-3 Gre (2nd place) 7-2 Sal (1st place)
  23. Curious why soxprospects, after years of having Noah Song ranked on their list, no longer have him listed. Did something change with his status?
