the point im trying to make is we could have had both Sale & Kimbrell + still have moncada. DD overpaid for Kimbrell to begin with which used up prospects which led to having to use moncada to get sale.

I hear you. I'm just saying that those prospects could have been used in the Sale trade (which may have allowed us to retain moncada). Kimbrell was taking on salary + big time prospects. it should be one or the other. not both.

interesting. this has me wondering if they are playing him so much at 1b right now in hopes that he gets one of his injuries that land him on the DL and would prevent him from vesting....

JBj has good numbers vs Chapman. that's why no PH for him in the 9th. -
fair response. his splits so far this year do indicate he hits better when playing LF vs DH. personally I am happy with JDM DHing most games and outfield of the B's. but I am also on record stating JBj is my starting CFer getting 1 single every 10 AB's.......

One of my dudes ran into him earlier this season. Spaceman gave my buddy a bat. He asked him for a unique autograph on it. It says “f*** Nettles”. He said spaceman was laughing his ass off as he was writing it.
