    i hear you dgale. i think they didn't bring him in for 6 because it was the bottom of the order coming up. granted the bottom of some orders are not like the bottom of others. the real mistake was bringing barnes into a high leverage game situation vs the Yankees. putting kimbrel into the game in the 8th was 100% a desperation move by our rookie manager. two terrible decisions in the same inning. hopefully he learns. and it seems like he has as evidence by last nights game. Barnes used in a low leverage spot vs NYY? check Kimbrell used in a clean 9th? check.

    well, the Sox plane has landed in Toronto. carpal tunnel is healed! hallelujah! its a f***ing miracle. also, our girl Guerin is reporting a "yet to be named" Boston Red Sox player has begun the process of transitioning gender. when the process is over we will have our first anatomical female MLB player. in the meantime he will just have to keep pretending to wear the tampon....

    Sorry, can’t give a full answer because my carpal tunnel has kicked in and my fingers are tingly....let me get back to you after the Yankees series when my “injury” will be magically healed when we are in Toronto.

    hahaha. it got him in line for a little while. remember how fast he put together that rifle? pretty damn fast. of course he used said rifle to murk Sgt. Hartman and then blow his own brains out. but for those few weeks in between - he was an OUTSTANDING soldier. so the math is: Pummel Price with socks filled with bars of soap + Price getting his s*** together + Price pitching us to a parade - Price blowing his own brains out on the duckboat = Red Sox out from under the remaining $$$ of his contract.

    your defense of Cora is comical in this instance. have you seen barnes splits vs NYY? surely Cora has. or at least i hope so. to put him in a high leverage situation vs NYY is not the right move. to put him in high leverage situation at yankee stadium is borderline neglect. there are plenty of pitchers on plenty of rosters that would never be put in that position by their manager because he knows the odds are not good. so there is a point of having him on the roster. but it's definitely NOT to pitch vs NYY in a winnable game situation. not all "bottom third of an order" are the same. in fact...the #9 hitter (i suppose in your book the easiest out for barnes??) is batting .333. you know when he should have been put into last nights game? after Kimbrell s*** the bed and we were down 3 runs. until then he should have been a spectator.

    just my opinion. baseball is such a mental game. leprechaun now for sure has it in the back of his mind that coming into a dirty 8th inning is not for him. just human nature. not only did gardner stick it in his ass and break it off but a couple batters later judge raped his girlfriend right in front of his face. dude is wrecked for the 8th inning. just my opinion.

    honest to god. I'm the highest paid pitcher on the planet and doc says to me "you have carpal tunnel". i say "doc, don't tell anyone because that is f***ing ghey". and i actually pitch the god damn game without skipping a start. you know that scene in Full Metal Jacket? you know the one. the boys need to put a bar of soap in a sock and straighten that pussy Price out. you know what I'm talking about.....

    he was too shallow on the gardner triple last night and got burned big time. benching JBj because of offense woes definitely affects the D. but it's also hard to argue that point when both HanRam & MM went yard in the same game. as for tonights game - Erod please don't nibble. we need 7 out of you big guy. thanks.
