    But Jacksonianmarch said the Red Sox were only doing so well because we were beating the sucky teams and that the Yankees would surely win all of the games against sucky teams and blow past us in the standings. Are you sure that the Yankees lost a game to the lowly Orioles? Surely this cannot be true. Jacksonianmarch (the most knowledgeable non troll talksox member of all time and doctor) said this would never happen.

    If you give me a parade every 4th year, I will take the last place finishes the other 3. Especially if I am going into every one of those seasons believing we can win.

    Did you think they were last place teams? I didn’t. Especially 2014. 2015 can definitely be debated as our SP was not even good on paper. There are ways to get rid of dead money if you are a good enough GM. Remember Crawford?

    I don’t think anyone is complaining that JD get an occasional start in the OF. The worry is having him play OF full time where he will get exposed. He hits just fine as a DH.....

    Fair response and It would be great to get 3 more outs out of him every start. Price has gotten exactly 1/3 of an out more than erod per start. For me...I’m less worried about our #4 SP that throws up zeroes into the 6th inning than I am about our $31MM “ace”...

    DD has done exactly what most of us said he would do on the day the Red Sox hired him. He has decimated/traded away the Farm. If it turns into at least 1 parade it’s worth it. ALE titles are NOT worth it IMO....

    Well except for the fact that our lineup is deadly for 7 batters....not 5..... And except for the fact that his frame rate is very much above average.... But...yeah...jacksonianmarch was right on with that troll post....eyeroll

    When it comes to pitching I feel like it’s more relevant to look at smaller and more recent samples sizes. 1 game can be a blip. 2 games is worrisome....IMO
