I was going to quote my negative comments, but I'll quote you instead.
Wacha gave up 3 runs in the 1st, and I went ballistic. He's now gone 4 more innings giving up 1 run. He has battled back. He has showed some grit, and in a big game like this that gets major points with me.
I might add the defensive outfield stinks. Refsnyder not so bad, but the other two like to, what's that word?--lollygaggle. Early in the Jays game one of their guys hit a single to right center and slowed down going to 1b until he saw how Arroyo was approaching that ball with the utmost caution and minimum aggressiveness. So he took 2b and later scored.
The Sox have had some hard hit shots caught, but I care about results--like they are (no surprise here) 0 for 5 with RISP.
Indeed, the Jays defense looks very professional, very engaged, and a whole lot faster than our Sox defense.
