Geez, what a bunch of Nancys...
The Sox have played like like absolute crap and are still just 2 games behind.
Playing in the worst division in the league gives them the luxury some other teams don't have, time.
And, if you look at the division records, there isn't a team in the division that hasn't had a tailspin like the Sox are experiencing now.
The Sox scored runs in bunches at the start of the season and I think they will again (providing Hanley is LF and not JBJ).
The rotation has shown flashes of competence. More consistency is needed from them, not an impossible task.
If the offense and defense are going to continue to take turns sucking, then, yeah, we're screwed.
But, I don't see the New York Needle Jumpers running away with anything yet.
