  1. Yes, because folks here aren't intelligent enough to decide for themselves about whom to associate with. They desperately need you to guide them.
  2. Exactly. Players face so many "big" moments, from the time they start playing Little League, up to the bigs. They all find a way to deal with the pressure, if they make it that far. Confidence in your own talents is not lacking in the vast majority of MLB players.
  3. Oh, there's more, if you want it!
  4. {sigh} My first "filthy and vile" PM to you: " Unbelievable. You lie about me, then pretend to take the high road with "I hope we can all get along" BS? Kiss my ass." Your oh-so-civil response: "Get lost Pedroiapoop or Markie from Maine or whatever handle you're borrowing now. You showed your true colors with that asinine post, and for better or worse I do NOT expect you to communicate with me on anything....not a post, not a retort....nothing. As for 700 Hitter, he has forgotten more baseball than your Pollyanna ass ever knew, and, besides, I didn't lie. You said in September, 2011 that the Red Sox were going through a short losing streak....I said it was the beginning of a collapse, so don't try and worm your way out of it. And I still remember that shithole of a PM you sent me on the Pollyanna board when I posted something. I was taking the high road or at least trying to and I did NOT lie about you." Same ol' Fred. He can dish it out, but can't take it.
  5. Depends on what the rotation looks like in June. If it looks like it does now, nope.
  6. No problem. Just apologize for lying about me , and the other folks you've been crapping on for the last four years, for that matter, and we're good. Ok?
  7. Ok, I'm sorry I said it didn't matter if Buchholz pitched the opener. You obviously took it to heart and I apologize. Was that basebally and touchy-feely enough for you?
  8. And you're a sensitive little bitch. I'd say we're even.
  9. I'm curious. Why are all your "calls for unity" preceded by insults? I've tried to keep our exchanges private. Obviously, that's not what you want.
  10. Guess I'll go with the dope then...
  11. Are you asking Kimmi, or the dope that keeps bringing it up?
  12. Get two tickets for that. I'd hate to miss it.
  13. I'd tell you what a pompous ass you're being now, but I know it wouldn't do any good. I'm more than happy to keep the "don't communicate" as a status quo.
  14. He's one of those "all opinions are valid, even if they're based on nothing but thin air" folks. He knows you're right Kimmi. He just can't bring himself to say it. Dude's got issues.
  15. Be honest; it's all the "Oh god, Tom! Yes, Tommy, yes!", isn't it?
  16. Like that's going to happen. Ever met a Yankee fan that didn't yap about them incessantly?
  17. Sell 'em all. We wont need them.
  18. He's got to cover his ass somehow. I think he knows it's a bad bet otherwise. No biggie. I think Porcello is durable enough to handle it. Heck, even Buchholz managed 170 last year.
  19. Yes, I figured that. Glad I wont be the one rooting for a Sox injury.
  20. Porcello has to hit 150+ IP and under 4.0 ERA for $100 US? I'm in.
  21. Considering Yankee fans are obnoxious by their very nature, it'd be a loooong season, sitting next to one on the couch every night. I'm out.
  22. Let's put Clay lower in the rotation, where some fans think he belongs. He can start the first game against the Yankees! That game isn't as important as OD against the Phillies. right?
