    If Pedroia cannot come back, or comes back as only a shell of his former self, then Dombrowski will very likely need to get an everyday 2B. I don't think that call needs to be made right now though. Fortunately, the Sox are in good shape standings wise and there is still plenty of time before the deadline.

    Yeah, go figure. I guess the Sox should have moved him to the pen a little sooner, but I get that they had to see if he could make it as a starter.

    I very much liked both of those trades. The Miller for Erod trade is one you have to make, every single time, and twice on Sundays.

    I had that feeling as well, especially once the Os got into a walk off situation. Thank goodness for our pen. They have really done a good job.

    I would do Porcello's contract all over again any day of the week. Whether he ultimately lives up to the deal or not, it was a good signing at the time it was made.

    Any GM who would give or not give a player a contract based on postseason numbers is not a GM that I want running my team.

    Just be thankful that you have the NESN feed, and not the Os feed. The Os feed is so sickly annoying that I wish the game were on ESPN tonight. And yes, Showalter is the worst.

    I posted this in the game thread a couple of nights ago. ESPN only has exclusive rights on Sunday nights, so when they broadcast a game on any other night, the local affiliates will still be airing their own broadcasts. Both NESN and the Detroit feed are being broadcast tonight, in addition to ESPN.
