    Yeah it's going to be weird not having games to watch. We will have Domborski's winter moves to argue about into the dark nights soon, however. Ha! And yeah,so many people on this team I'm so happy for. Just so pumped for everyone involved.

    Oh my comment wasn't aimed at you, apologies if you thought that. As you say, this is a time of celebration. I can't quite believe how good we've been this year. I thought the wheels had to come off at some point. I didn't think we could be THIS good THIS long. It feels surreal. And one cherry we should never ever forget, Machado ended on his knees for the last out looking up at the Sox celebrating.

    I think the 1st base platoon worked so well for us it just makes sense. I don't think he will cost much either, despite his heroics. I would definitely be okay with Pomeranz coming back on a very cheap contract to try and re-establish himself. But it would have to be very cheap. I just don't trade Swilhart. If we get an offer we can't say no to, then that's different but I think he;s so valuable and a very good option for 3rd catcher. I am very high on the kid, though. I can't help but root for him. It's going to be a very interesting Off-Season. We should be in very good shape to repeat next year, if we keep the majority together.

    Yeah, I loved his comments when he said "You guys dug me out of a hole tonight" after he left E-Rod face one more batter. He took responsibility for that. That must feel so good to E-Rod.

    Re-sign Evoaldi, Pearce and Kelly. Offer QQ to Kimbrel. Let Pomeranz and Kinsler walk Keep Swilhart he offers valuable depth at a few positions.

    His comments about holding all the cards was in relation to him getting the "no win in the Post Season" off his back. he said "You guys have always had that card to play against me, now I hold all the cards." I hope he does opt out though. I dearly hope he opts out, despite his brilliance in the playoffs. He won't get better than this and will decline in the next three years, possibly quite steeply. He won't, however.

    Anything less is an unmitigated failure.

    He makes his decisions based on a raft of information and then backs those calls. He's intelligent, insightful, humble and personable. The perfect personality to manager a team of superstars.

    It's weird to me that the first thing somebody wants to do after seeing their team win a WS is immediately try and bring up an old argument so they can act all superior, but each to their own. Personally, I think it's awesome that we have a GM who has made so many brilliant decisions and given us sustained success. I am also very thankful for the previous one who gave us a WS and who's players like Kelly and Porcello were so instrumental to this unbelievable season. It's a good time to be a Sox fan.

    Yup. I think if we have a lead tonight Sale will come in. It would be a risk, but I could definitely see it happening. It might be asking too much of Eovaldi.

    Interesting call putting Price in there tonight. What a turnaround it would be for Price if he pitched us into the WS and then pitched us the WS win.

    One of the best things about this is that it's shown up some of you absolute clowns who bitched about this team and manager non stop tonight. Sit the f*** down. What a team!

    I don't disagree I'm not saying what I would do, only what I think Cora might. E-rod seems the obvious choice, but he's in all-in mode every night. We will see how far he wants to take that.
