  1. Yeah I hear you. People get way too angry, at the littlest things. Getting a gun pointed at you for driving slowly...Jesus... A little less anger and a little less ways to kill each other would be a a good idea to start with, you'd think. I went to an anti-gun rally a few weeks ago. Met some great people. Even met some decent Yankee fans! Quite the surprise.
  2. I wonder? Claiming nobody wanted him without any evidence to back this up to I believe? Who woulda thunk it? I'd like to see Beni boy get another gig to see whathe can do.
  3. Got tickets to my first ever Red Sox - Yankees game at Fenway in early August. I'm hoping beyond hope, Sale is going to get the start!
  4. Yeah, definitely. The fact is we are a very aggressive running team. We are bound to run into outs occasionally.
  5. Yeah, arming people who can't control their aggressiveness is always a great idea... Texas has two cities in the top 10 for road rage - https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/us-cities-with-the-worst-road-rage.html You can carry concealed weapons with a permit in California and it has 4 of the top 7 spots for road rage. North Carolina is 3rd and you can carry a concealed weapon there. 8 out of the top 10 places for road rage can carry concealed weapons. I think maybe it's time you revised your opinion.
  6. Ha yeah! I just didn't realise it was going on over two threads. I believe if it's mentioned in more thread the CIA open up a file on me.
  7. I feel there's enough common ground that we can start a whole new posse. You can never have enough back-up plans.
  8. Whilst true, I don't feel the jokes on the board have reached a complexity level where this would apply
  9. Okay, so THAT is funny.
  10. Yeah I'd say it would be spread out similar to this, too.
  11. I'll let you know when you post something humorous.
  12. No. And the way you can know this is because I quite literally say that they aren't in the post you quoted. lol See I do have a sense of humour.
  13. Ha! Yeah, it's a fair point. I think with Bogaerts it was more that he was comfortable at SS and not at 3rd, more than maximising his potential earnings, though. But then maybe that's seeing it through rose-tinted glasses because he's at the Sox.
  14. Yeah the SS thing is a pretty selfish move by Machado. I'd play him 3rd only personally, as he's excellent there.
  15. Yeah, same here. But then you knew that because of our daily 7am breakfast strategy meeting.
  16. Oh! I'm only now seeing this. Ha! For what it's worth, as I've mentioned before I wouldn't classify myself as a stat person, more of a in-the-middle kinda guy. I think some stats are great and measure lots that we love about the game, I think some are a nonsense. As I said to you in the other thread last night, if you want to see childish: looking at Spuds constant "But somebody will be along to tell me I'm wrong wah wah wah" after every post, fits the bill just nicely. If posting in opposition to belligerent, grumpy old men, crying and moaning all day while you treat us all to a dazzling array of hypocrisy, qualifies me as being part of a posse, sign me up baby! mvp, I'm also starting up a side posse called "stat heads are communists" in case it goes south and I can jump on the other bandwagon. I got a space there for you as comrade-in-arms if you're interested buddy? Nobody should be without a posse.
  17. Pretty strong answers from JD and Kimbrel.
  18. Yeah it's exactly this. As with most things, the answer is somewhere in the middle. We are better this year for a multiple of reasons. Some reasons will be higher than others, but we have no way of knowing which they are.
  19. Again, loving the irony. But I must point out this post is pure worthless and baseless speculation. Kimmi, please don't eat any curries...
  20. A World Series AND the best latte? The guy can do it all.
  21. Gibberish. You, too.
  22. Of course you will. People who believe in their opinions because of experience and their eye are no less confident in their assertions, but of course, you'll just apply the standard to the stat heads. Quelle surprise.
  23. I give him credit for the success and blame for the failures. His overall tenure had plenty of issues and missteps. It also brought us a WS and the best record in baseball.
  24. I look forward to you pointing out to everyone who posts things without a hard stat to back it up that their post is useless and baseless speculation.
