  1. It would be nice to see the Dodgers out of it.
  2. Was talking about that earlier tonight with some friends. LA has some Boston influence as well.
  3. Yeaha BTR .... I am enjoying the s*** out of this win. I thought we would be kicking ourselves for pitching to Longoria in game 3 ... now it no longer matters ... but please Farrell please please pitch around Miggy with first base open.
  4. Drew is steady ... I wish he could hit lefties
  5. Pedroia needs to stay on his side of the infield
  6. F that Thunder ... there will not be a game 5
  7. Would Farrell pull a pitcher this early? Just saying.
  8. My Dad came over this evening to celebrate his 83rd Birthday with Me, my wife and our 2 kids. The first thing he asked me was "Why did they pitch to Longoria last night?"
  9. That's what you do ... you walk big Papi
  10. I agree with you about batting Bogaerts. I just hope that Farrell learned a lesson from this failure. It will really suck if he pitches to Longoria again in this series. I hope that the pitchers have enough common sense not to pitch to Longoria even if Farrell remains in denial.
  11. I could not agree with you more. If it were reversed and Papi was at the plate no way does Madden pitch to him. Farrell was out managed.
  12. I am a bit concerned that Farrell said that he never considered walking Longoria with first base open. What is this baseballs version of Dumb and Dumber? Then Clay throws the same pitch that he struck Longoria out on his previous AB. How many hits does Myers have so far?
  13. An outfield of Ellsbury, Victorino and JBJ will be any Sox pitchers wet dream. I have seen Victorino and Ellsbury track down balls that were destined to be gap doubles ... not only are runs saved on these types of plays but the play itself puts a charge into the pitcher like a shot of adrenaline which keeps the pitcher on task.
  14. Who fails to see that Ellsbury's game is based on speed. You have to be on crack not to know this basic fact. I really doubt that Ellsbury will be washed up in 3 years as you point to. That being said there is no need to overpay for Ellsbury with JBJ in the wings and management will take this into account.
  15. No way ... let's sweep them under the rug.
