    Yeah ... he had a good year but had the blister issues ... he had a dismal 2006 his first season for the Sox but a great 2007 and 2011 but that was it. Was 2011 a contract year?

    Lowell batted .238 with 8 HR's and a contract paying him a boat load of money at the time. Beckett was ok but having blister issues ... only started 29 games.

    This is the difference between the mind of a Yankees fan and Sox fan. I am the later but with these two players who knows how many more rings the Sox could have had. Just check out Hanley's rookie mvp season.

    True that ... just saying. I never liked the deal because Beckett and Lowell were both coming off terrible years and Lowell was a pure salary dump who worked out for us. Look it up. Theo was not with the Sox at the time of the trade. Theo loved Hanley and you can see why.

    Really, what makes you say that? You do not think that Hanley would have put up better numbers than Renteria and Lugo?

    I am referring to the scout or scouts who were responsible for signing Sanchez and Hanley. And now Bogaerts.
