  1. His first start this year vs the rays was really good too. But considering this is a much better lineup, it could be.
  2. Who the hell would have thought at the beginning of the season that all of our young players would have been fails offensively except brock holt?
  3. Will middlebrooks.is so damn frustrating to watch
  4. I see it possibly as this opening day: 1st rotation spot: FA signing 2nd rotation spot: FA signing 3-5: rubby, kelly, ranaudo ( even though his last outing in triple a was poor), buccholz. These dudes are all in the mix.
  5. Of the only people we have left in our rotation, he is the only one who has proved to be good enough to be a starter next year based off of his performance this year. Joe Kelly could ultimately work his way into the rotation too if he pitches well the rest of the season and so could ranaudo. I don't think they would commit to webster unless he really improved his command.
  6. Rubby doing a nice job there. It seems like he either gives up only one run in his starts or 4 or 5. But that 3.23 era looks nice. If he can continue to pitch well he should definitely have a spot in the rotation next year.
  7. Still waiting for cespedes to go deep. He has ridiculous bp pop but he can't be relied on to hit 30.
  8. Its going to be interesting to see what happens to will. Does ben say ok will these last 40 plus games you have to show us good offensive production or your out? Does he trade him in the offseason? Or does he give him the job at third next year as his final chance?
  9. If he can hit .230, providing everyone else are lineup is producing at a high level, I am ok with automatic out jr. If the rest of our team can't produce enough and we need more offense there, then he has to go.
  10. Heath hembree looked pretty good and after that first inning clay was good. This team still can't hit.
  11. He is. I got no problem with him being our center fielder next year if out other 8 guys can really produce like a normal sox o does.
  12. Absolutely. His ops is only 1 point higher than mike trouts slugging.
  13. Hahaahahha what a joke.
  14. When was his last hit like 2 weeks ago?
  15. Cmon automatic out jr. Don't make it 0 for 30.
  16. I thought pujols was for sure going to at least air one out there. Lets see if we can sneak by.
  17. Christ. Sure taz feels overworked but cmon.
  18. Damn it. No more innings please.
  19. Outstanding base running by pedey and good job by papi lifting that down and away pitch to left field. When pedey got on this game, papi drove him in. Still waiting for cespedes to go deep.
  20. I'm pretty sure I saw him mouth those words. But I could be wrong.
  21. I don't know if anyone caught that, but pierzynski in the club house said to his teammates " I hate these f***ing guys". We hate you to aj.
  22. Indeed. Beckett had three solid seasons in a row from 2007 to 2009. Buchholz has NEVER had back to back close to full seasons let alone good ones.
  23. Yup he is not a kid anymore at all. He is going to be 30 in 10 days.
  24. Thats a very good point. It does seem like they were trying to hide him. They probably knew he had serious command problems.
  25. I agree completely. Hype them up while they are in the minors then trade them for major league proven talent.
