The sad part is, he probably enjoys this. I can see someone like that thinking, "well, my home life sucks, the Yankees lost, but at least I bet I got a ton of comments." He could say the stuff he says on a Yankees forum, but he probably wouldn't get any attention.
The Yankees just lost to the sound of the opposing team's fans banging bright orange thundersticks together. That's embarrassing.
I'm sure they'll be in first by 20 games by the All-Star break though. The Red Sox are peaking.
Maybe someone will punch him in the face for yelling "BOOYAH!" when the Yankees scored, constantly talking about how terrible the Mets are, and calling them new wave pansies when they ask him to stop being a dick.
Drew's moved up in the order.
Boston Red Sox (31-20)
Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
Daniel Nava, RF
Dustin Pedroia, 2B
David Ortiz, DH
Mike Napoli, 1B
Stephen Drew, SS
Mike Carp, LF
Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
Jose Iglesias, 3B
Yes, the fact that the Red Sox are starting Iglesias over Ciriaco tells you all you need to know. Iglesias has said he feels really comfortable here, he looks really comfortable here and it looks like he has the support of some veterans like Ortiz.
We have an extra pitcher right now. As soon as Aceves makes his start, he'll be sent down and Jackie Bradley Jr. will get called up because right now we don't have any backup who can play centerfield. When Morales comes back, either Mortensen or Wilson will probably be sent down. My guess would be Wilson since Mortensen is out of options. It could go either way though, Mortensen's been pretty bad so the team might not mind exposing him to waivers.
Jung, the problem is that you're the only person who thinks this is an issue. And even after someone has provided statistics which strongly suggest you're incorrect, you're continuing to argue about it. This is just like the Will Middlebrooks thing where you claimed he was a dead pull hitter in 2012, and went on these long rambling explanations, comparing him to Carlton Fisk. Then someone posted his spray chart, which showed he very clearly was not a pull hitter and you went on some tangent about how he really was a pull hitter because of the location of the pitches he puts in play.
There's something to be said for someone who's mature enough to admit when they've been proven wrong.
