  1. That's a backbreaker. Still annoyed we brought Lester in for this inning.
  2. Yes, I'm sure he'll sit out a year. Thank you for blessing this thread with your wisdom.
  3. I would not have brought in Lester.
  4. You know what they say about common sense...
  5. I'm pretty sure he is. He hasn't pitched since he blew the game on Tuesday.
  6. Is reading really this hard for you?
  7. You claimed he was sitting 94 Jackass. He's thrown 90-93 this inning, which means he's sitting 90-91.
  8. Maybe by a four year old.
  9. Well, it's a quality start. But I expected more against such a s***** offense.
  10. Can't even be read numbers objectively. What a jackass.
  11. If he occasionally hits 94, he's not sitting 94. Come on, this is basic stuff.
  12. We're down by three :dunno:
  13. Making the third out at third.
  14. Iggy's hit Sabathia pretty hard.
  15. We're fortunate the Yankees can't hit, Lester should have been chased out of this game a long time ago.
  16. I hope Girardi's still making the calls from the clubhouse. Pena's actually decent.
  17. By value, I mean worth more than they're being paid. He's been worth $27.96 million a year over the last five seasons, if he were to hit the free agent market he'd make more than his current salary. I'm not too worried about his age, he's a finesse pitcher.
  18. I would trade that for Cliff Lee. It's pretty rare a pitcher of his caliber is on the trading block when they're under contract for an additional three years. It beats the hell out of anything available on the free agent market both in talent and in value.
  19. Well, we all know where Sabathia's going to pitch Bradley. Let's see if he learned anything in AAA.
  20. RED SOX (33-22) Nava LF Gomes RF Pedroia 2B Ortiz DH Napoli 1B Drew SS Ross C Bradley Jr CF Iglesias 3B Pitching: LHP Jon Lester (6-1, 3.34). Nava leading off against a lefty? Ugh. And for the Yankees... Brett Gardner CF Kevin Youkilis DH Robinson Cano 2B Mark Teixeira 1B Vernon Wells LF Jayson Nix SS David Adams 3B Ichiro Suzuki RF Chris Stewart C LHP CC Sabathia
  21. Load the lineup with lefthanded hitters against CC Sabathia? Could you perhaps censor yourself once in a while?
